I survived the First Day of School!

* clap clap clap*

When the Bus came all parents hung back and the kids boarded, well all of course me, I was the only adult holding Elijah's hand in the line up of kids, and he had the attitude of 'see ya Mom, go away'....so today I will not do that to him again, as he said 'you embarrassed me Mommy'.....

After the line up thing, he bolted onto the Bus not giving me a chance to kiss him, oh well, and then he left and I cried for a little bit, tears of proudness mind you...

When I got him off the Bus that evening, he refused to tell me anything about his Day, only little snippets of things, but nothing really....

In 6 days my youngest turns 2~!
And 13 days Elijah turns 5~!

In one week is his Birthday party at the Playtium!!!

I am excited and nervous, because I have a few things planned that I have to get done!

Today after I get Elijah on the Bus I am going to get a haircut! A much needed one, and then tonight I have to dye my hair, yes I dye my hair, pretty much close to my normal, but it warms it up a bit and makes it more reddish, the way I like it...

I got new clothes the other day, I had not bought any in about 2-3 years so I was due!

I had help from April, she gave me clear honest opinions so I did well, I have had friends in the past not be honest and ya....

Well, off I go...another day....another dollar....another kid to go off to school!

I love that expression "another day, another dollar" :)
It sounds like school got of to an ok start for Elijah, and like he is being a typical boy and not telling you anything about his day!
I pray that he's settling into his class well and enjoying the new relationships with his teacher and classmates!
